Kotobukiya
Iron Man Statue

Kotobukiya has announced that they have pre-sold out all 7000 pieces of their Limited Edition Iron Man Fine Art Statue. The product made its inaugural debut to the public at San Diego Comic-Con 2008 and received praise from both fans and the media.

Inspired by the original promotional one-sheet for the film, the Armored Avenger stands tall in this 1/6th scale Fine Art Statue (approximately 13 inches tall). Every detail of Iron Man's Mark III armor has been faithfully replicated by the craftsmen at Kotobukiya based on Stan Winston Studios suit for the film and designs by comic artist extraordinaire Adi Granov. Working from reference provided by Marvel Studios, the level of mechanical detail in the statue is matched only by the personality conveyed in Iron Man's heroic stance.

Manufactured in cold cast porcelain and coated with metallic paint, the Iron Man Fine Art Statue also features multiple LED lights in his eyes, Repulsor Ray palms, and the Unibeam on his chest. The base of the statue sports a sculpted Iron Man film logo on a three-dimensional realization of his chest symbol, painted in the Mark I color scheme. Each statue is individually numbered on the bottom of the base as part of a 7000 Limited Edition run.

Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto, this museum ready statue is the debut of the first season of goods, which will incorporate collectibles from all the films Marvel Studios will release in the calendar year, such as "The Incredible Hulk" and "Punisher: War Zone."

Kotobukiya recommends that all fans check their local shop to get their very own limited Edition Iron Man Fine Art Statue. You can find your nearest comic shop through
